Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is a negotiating tool which uses the individual’s own experiences to show the way forwards. The client’s experiences can be different to their beliefs.
A trauma or repeated enforcing of behaviour patterns may make an individual thinks that the outcome to some type of situation will be a certain result.
The individual may believe this so much that they cannot see or understand what actually happens, in their life.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy helps the individual to record, become aware of and understand the truth. With this understanding, they can actually see that things are not as bad as they seemed, in fact, things are usually very good but focus had been made on the 5% of the day which was bad.
Soon, the individual builds confidence from awareness of the 95% of the day which was good and approaches their life differently – successfully.
The answers were always there, inside, but the individual was overwhelmed by their reality. All they need is a little help and they are on their way, happily, all by themselves.
