Hypnosis to relieve Depression
Depression is a very lonely condition; if you have a broken arm, people can see it and probably guess that you got it after taking a bad fall. Whereas depression doesn't show, nobody knows how you got it and all that does show is an array of symptoms. These can be: feeling sorry for yourself; suffering a loss of energy; suffering a loss of enthusiasm for anything; withdrawing from contact with others; not understanding what is wrong; feeling that you are good for nothing, that you are a failure, that you don't deserve to feel good.

All of these feelings are inside, you don't know where they came from but they now govern your life; when you try to work things out, it is like you are lost in a fog. Perhaps you have been given medication that numbs you even further, so that you don't mind things the way they are.

You are still in there and the cause of the pain that keeps you smothered can be released. Your depression is relative to only you; the formula which brought it about contains elements of your character and therefore nobody can have the same depression as you. It follows that any help you receive should be tailored to you, containing attention to elements of your character.

Depression is brought about by the anger born of the frustration caused by failing to achieve expectations that were too high. If you want a goal that is very high and you don't achieve it, the emotions of expectation will turn to frustration; this will turn to anger, which will be directed inwards, causing depression - especially if this seems to be the story of your life.

Why do you need to set such goals? Are they to compensate for others that were not achieved? This spiral goes in a very bad direction. What Mark can do is take you to the point where it all started and let you re-judge the situation today. Your reaction will probably be, "Oh no, I don't believe it. Oh yes, now I can see. Cor blimey, that's where it all came from." It is called your "moment of liberating enlightenment" and that's exactly what it is.

If you choose this direction and you reach your moment of liberating enlightenment, in the several weeks after, you will feel yourself reconstructing from within. You will notice changes taking place (all for the better); your outlook will become brighter, your feelings will become lighter and you will want to get on with enjoying your life now that you are able to reclaim it.
