Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is work done in Hypnosis. This is an altered state of mind; it is a trance.

Every person goes through this state as they fall asleep, as they wake up and they are in it when they day-dream. So, most people enter or pass through what we call Hypnosis about 1000 times a year, on average. It’s quite natural and quite harmless.

When induced outside of those natural times, the only thing and, therefore, the worst thing that can go wrong is that you fall asleep! There is no possibility of you “going too deep” or “getting lost in space”; it can’t happen. Anyway, a Hypnotherapist who has just guided you into a trance is interested in you remaining awake; if they can lower the activity of your brain, they can keep it where they want. After all, you will be brought out of Hypnosis, back up to normal brain activity, in a matter of seconds at the end of the session.

During the Hypnotic trance other parts of your mind are accessible, including those which hold “secrets” from your conscious mind. These “secrets” may be memories of certain events or they may be buried emotional reaction to events which, themselves, may be easily recalled by your conscious mind.

If there is anything else giving direction over your life, it is found and resolved here, also.
