Psychoanalysis
Psychoanalysis is the opening and unburdening of the subconscious mind. Stuff that may have been buried or hidden due to trauma or intense emotional reaction is stored in the subconscious and can cause problems.Anything that is buried or hidden is not known to the conscious mind; in fact the individual would swear there is nothing there because that is the situation.
The problem is that the subconscious is keeping these secrets and this takes effort. The effort is overtime work and the subconscious will take overtime payment, without asking, from the conscious mind or the ideo-motor actions of the body.
The subconscious will give the individual a piece of abnormal behaviour and they will be unable to break free, on their own. The abnormal behaviour may be an unwanted habit, anxiety, depression or the production of real physical symptoms which doctors cannot diagnose or deal with.
During Psychoanalysis in Hypnosis, doors to the subconscious are opened and things come tumbling out. As they do, they are recognised and the adult, today, can better judge the situation, making a sound job of dealing with it. Also, any bottled-up emotion is freed and no longer is like volcano, waiting to erupt.
Once these things are in the open and are expended of energy, the subconscious has no more overtime work to do and the conscious mind can file things away, where they are supposed to be. Understanding reigns and normality returns.
